Tomer Steinfeld
Can you post what version you're using, and your test case?

Re: Selenium IDE does not read the recorded value in text field

Tomer Steinfeld
Its hard to recreate the problem if you tell me it happens on some, in my tests it doesn't.
I need the specific text field to recreate the problem, also, much like the older version, you may have to click outside the textbox for the value to register.

Quoting:

The type command may require clicking on some other area of the web page for it to record.

In reply to this post by jenn orejo
You should not be using Selenium IDE to begin with.
It creates brittle tests that easily break.
